FAVORITE SONGZ ON THE PPP ALBUM...

  • I felt it only right that the other fans (apart from Trey's angels) have a post

    about the actual album...

    If y'all haven't noticed the rest of us can't get into the threads of the Trey's Angels

    but they can get into ours.  I tried to participate in the post with above same name

    but couldn't so...

    who bought the album? Which songs do you like or don't like?

    What's good about the album or not so good? From production to cover art?

    And don't be afraid to say y'all don't like something...remember Trey isn't on here

@SShorty

Very in depth analysis of 3PPPs. :) I liked how you summed it up. Nice rating too. :)

Okay, so my VERY favorite song on the PPP album is "Doorbell"

I just love singing to it...and dancing to it...and doin the harmonizing background
vocals to it...and I sing the "ding-dong" parts too lol

The other songs that qualify for runner-up as Favorites are: "Bottoms Up,", "Unusual,"
"Unfortunate," "Panty Droppa" "Love Me Better" and "Blind" < has turned out to be a
surprising favorite of mine...

The album production is very, very, good. I'm impressed considering that there are no
very super big name producers on the album. Everything was more or less
produced by Mr. Troy Taylor, except for "Can't Be Friends" which was done by
Mario Winans...

The album cover was appropriate to the message he was conveying I guess;
a sorta up close & personal close-up shot revealing his "Passion, Pain, and Pleasure."
I like to think the rain fall is symbolic of his tears in the "Pain" part of the title lol
but I don't know...another thing, I do like the 3 P's on the back though...

The album booklet I thought was interesting...the first picture where Trey is in the suit
looking down, is nice. He looks contemplative. Then we see him eating Chinese food,
alone...alright. But in the middle of the booklet, tell me why does he have to look so
serious in the shots? lol

I just thought it was missing one more picture...the one that sums up his "passion"
His music...there should've been a picture or two capturing him in the studio or on one
of his Tour/Performance, but other than that...it's okay

overall, I rate the album a 4.7 out of 5

@Syreetasm

I just noticed your name...Syreeta, that's a nice name

I've only known one Syreeta though...per chance, are you from UK?

I posted a question "If you had to pick 1 song from the PPP album that sumed up your PPP which song would it be and why?" Your sleeping on that question guys! Anyway I have bought the album and I love it! I get something different from each song so I can't say that there's one that I don't like or that I have a favorite. I like them all for different reasons. Even the shorter ones, interludes if you will, Passion, Pain and Pleasure I love those. I play the whole album in it's entirety. The layout is hot! To me what's not to like!

I'm waiting for mine to arrive as well but I've heard some songs already

and from what I've heard I like "Doorbell" "Made To Be Together" "Unusual" so far

and as I'm typing this a car just whizzed by blaring out "Bottoms Up" from its speakers
That's definitely one of my favorite collab joints from Trey Songz

I pre-ordered it. I like love faces, massage, alone, can't be friends, made to be together, unusual, unfortunate, I like bottoms up but they over play it on the radio.
