“Look baby…I’m sorry things had to go down like this, but I thinks it’s for the best if we just chill.” Nikki starts crying.
“No! You can’t just end it like this!”

“GET OUT TREY!” he stares at her face as the tears continue to run down it making her mascara run. “GET OUT!” pointing to the door…He leaves out of the front door as she wished.
One year later
“Yo shawty can I hollar at chu for a minute?” The young lady turns back around and walks over to Tremaine’s locker. She’s holding her books in her hand staring him in the face.
“How you doin?” Tremaine is scanning over her shapely body.
“I’m fine.”
“Sweetheart what’s ya name?”
“Shanell.”
“I never seen you here before you must be new.”
“I am. I just transferred here for my senior year. Today is my first day.”
“It’s also your lucky day. Look I’ma do you a favor and carry these books….taking them out of her hands…for you to ya class.
“That won’t be necessary…looking to get a name…”
“Tremaine but you can call me Trey.”
“Well Trey…taking the books back…thanks for the offer, but I can carry my books myself. I will however take you up on your offer to walk me to my class. I’m not sure where this room is…” showing him her schedule.
“Oh you got Mrs. Auburn…you goin my way.” walks her down the hall and up the steps to the classroom.
“Thanks for showing me where to go. I guess you better hurry up and get to yours before the bell rings.”
“Baby I’m gud…my class is right across the hall…” nodds head in that direction smiling. Shanell smiles back.
“Well thanks again Trey.”
“You’re welcome baby.” Suddenly Paige walks by Trey and Shanell since they were standing by the classroom doorway.
Mumbles “He at it again…agitated…Move fool!”
“Aye Paige…what I tell you bout dat…watch ya mouth…you can’t be da man all da time.” Shanell didn’t know what to think and just stood there listening to the two of them.
“Kiss my bootylicious black ass Trey!” Then she apologizes to Shanell.
“Sorry you had to hear that…he plucks my nerves.” Then she rolls her eyes at him and walks in the room. Shanell then stared back at Trey.
“I’ll see you later baby.” Then he hurriedly makes his way across the hall.
Once class was over Trey was looking for Shanell but didn’t catch up to her again until he spotted her when he had lunch. He noticed her sitting with Paige. Paige was on the cheerleading squad and also the captain. Trey decided to go over and break up their little conversation they had going on.
“What happened?” Shanell and Paige both looked at Trey wondering what he was talking about, but his focus was on Shanell.
“What do you mean what happened?” she curiously asked.
“I thought I was showing you to ya classes. You don’t need me already?” Paige folded her arms and looked at Trey like he was selling bullshit.
“Oh…I’m sorry. I only meant that one class.”
“Don’t pay him any mind Shanell. What do you want Trey?”
“Not yo ass.” Shanell looks at Trey with her mouth wide open from his response. Then Trey laughs it off and walks behind Paige to hug her. “Nah I’m just playing. How you doin today baby?” Shanell still looked puzzled. Paige sees her face and explains as Trey is still hugging her from behind.
“He’s plays around like this all the time. We have this love hate thing going on. I pays him no mind.” she stressed. Then he lets her go and puts his focus back on Shanell.
“You need a hug too baby?”
“I’m good.”
“You sho? I’ve been told I give the best hugs…you should lemme show you and then you can tell me whatchu think.” Shanell smiles.
“I’ll take your word for it.”
“Yeah ight. I’ll see y’all later.”
“Trey wait!” he looks back to see what Paige wants.
“Is it true that your performing again in the school’s talent show?”
“How you find dat out?”
“Is it? Just tell me because if you are I want to be there.” Then Shanell looked at Trey.
“Perform…as in what?”
“I guess you’ll have to come to the show and find out baby.” Then he walked off. Shanell couldn’t wait to find out so she asked Paige and she told her that Trey sings. She was surprised. She thought to herself, he has good looks and can sing…I better watch him.

Nikki saw Trey talking to Paige and Shanell. She was sitting in the lunchroom with her girls and decided to go and see what was going on with Trey. She caught him as he was at the vending machine.
“So you’re not going to speak to me today? You got time to talk to everyone else.”
“You know it’s not even like dat. I haven’t seen you till now…everythang cool?”
“Everything’s great….sooo you know the new girl already?” Trey puts a handful of skittles in his mouth…chewing
“Yeah I know her.”
“So you tryna talk to her now?” Trey sighs.
“How long we gone do this Nikki?”
“Do what…I can’t wanna know who’s about to take my place.”
“Do yaself a favor baby…leggo…I still love you doe…I’ll talk to you later.” he walks away
“You can’t say that to me Trey and expect me to give up on us…she yells…I’m gonna get you back!”

I was finally on my way home. I really had a nice time at my parents house. It felt great to be there for awhile. Word on the street was El wanted to see me. Everyone that we knew as a couple would tell me that when they would come visit me. I was tired of hearing it. As a matter of fact I was just plain tired. Tired of everything. I was pushed to the point where if he wants to see me its going to be on my terms and this time I was gonna be ready. I was hoping Crystal ran her mouth at least before she got busted in it. I guess Ill have to wait and see if he arrives at my doorstep. Dont know what ended up happening with Crystal after her beat down. Maybe Ill call Paige to see what she knows but truthfully I dont give a damn. Once I arrived in LA. I had Evan and Marcus stop at the drug store so I could get some more pain medicine. Evan assisted me out of the car and accompanied me inside. As I was looking in the medicine aisle I saw Nikki talking to some girl. I thought, why the hell cant I get away from these crazy ass chicks. I was hoping she didnt see me. I quickly scoped out the shelves to see what pills I wanted to get before she noticed me. Evan asked me was I ok and I told him yes I was fine. With him standing beside me Nikki must didnt notice me because she was still busy running her mouth. I heard her loud and clear. She was talking about somebodies baby. I was trying to drown her voice out until I heard her say Treys name. I was done getting my pills but I sat there for minute and listened to what else she had to say.
Hes hates me. When I told him I was pregnant by him, that did it.
So Nikki what are you going to do? I think you need to rethink things.

Buggzi got back in and saw Treys body language. He knew things just went from bad to worse. He figured Trey would talk to him when he was ready so he didnt say anything. They ended up driving to Shanells condo. He was quiet the whole drive. Once they got there he went in the bedroom, shut the door for some privacy and called his mom. Too much was starting to build up and he needed her support. He never told her about Nikki drugging him and that whole situation but now with her saying shes pregnant he needed to come clean. He called and explained his whole ordeal. His mom held her piece until he was done.

Nikki just stared at Trey in silence. Her eyes started to well up with tears. She knew she had pushed the last button with Trey and there was no turning back now. The way he looked at her was with pure hate and she could feel it too by his words. She slowly turned her hand to open the door and got out of the car. They jumped out of the car and pulled Aleen off of Chrystal seeing as though none of the spectators did a thing.

(S) Yeah the more I got to know her I knew she wasnt bout nothing good. Shes part of the reason I have to look at this scar everyday if it was her. Then I suddenly put my hand over my mouth.

(S) Oh my gosh Aleen! When I was in the supermarket the day of the accident I ran into her. I was talking to her for a brief moment but then she suddenly had to go. Who shows up when I get to my car El. I had just gotten into town that day so no one knew that I was here. She must of told him.
(A) Wheres this bitch! She causing a whole lot of shit! Ahn Ahn cousin where she live?
(S) I dont know. Ive never been to her house. Ive only seen her out.

Ive had so many family members and friends come to my parents house and show me some love. It was a lot of their first time seeing the scar that El put on me too up close. I had been here now a few weeks. My dad has been taking very good care of me. Trey has come to see me every chance hes had. He even came with his best friend Ty. Me and her are going to hang out real soon. I told her Id be going home this week she didnt know when she was going back yet she said she had to take care of something. She decided to extend her stay but were definitely going to have a girls night out before she leaves. I was happy she was here. Ty and Trey have known each other for a long time. Ive always liked her. He rarely gets to see her since she doesnt live in the states anymore so Im glad shes here for him right now. Trey could use her to talk too. I know Ive been stressing him out lately with everything thats been happening to me. I can see it when I look at him. He thinks hes hiding it from me, but I know this whole El situation is taking a toll on him. He will never let me know it though, but at least he can tell her how he really feels without having to worry about protecting anyones feelings.
My dad had the kitchen smelling so good today. He was making dinner like it was a holiday. I was wondering how come he was cooking like this today. Little did I know I had more surprises to come. My Auntie Sharon came out with Raven and Ricky and also my cousin Aleen came to see me too. I was so happy to see them. Raven and Ricky were getting so big. They were almost teenagers.

Trey handed me my crutches so I could try to get up. I had to sit back down. Oh my gosh that pain was too much. I didnt know how I was going to be able to get dressed on my own.

Baby can you help me to the bathroom? I put a lot of my weight on Trey to get up. Then he gave me the crutches. I was in pain but I had to move around. We finally made it to the bathroom. He came back out to bring me my dress and then he stayed in there with me and helped me to get dressed. Once I received my discharge papers we were out and headed to my mom and dads. It was nice getting to spend time with my two favorite guys. My mom of course was still on the ship so she couldnt find out about this until they docked. Her and my dad used calling cards. The expense to use the ships phone was just way too much. I watched Trey and my dad talk and get caught up. My dad cooked dinner for us that evening. Before I knew it, it was time for Trey to be leaving. In that instant I started losing my feelings of being safe and secure. I knew I had Evan and Marcus but it was nothing like having the certainty of your mans words to comfort you. Knowing that because he loves you he wont allow anything bad to happen to you but hes leaving and so are those secure feelings.
