The statments that are up here seem to be from ppl that DONT like Songz,
If you have a die hard Trey Fan vs a Die Hard Kellz fan, they are not going to speak the
TRUTH, about what they say because they love that person.

You need a die hard MUSIC fan to speak the TRUTH about any artist, no
matter how much they love them

@JIMS

Yes while some were made when Trey was just starting out

there are a few that were made recently as last year and this year...

Being a so called musical genius shouldn’t excuse the fact that this man has a thing for young girls. When R. Kelly first came out people were buying cds like crazy and he benefited from that. The music industry is in a horrible state right now and for Trey to even go platinum or gold is a wonderful thing. That is something people seem to be to slow to think about. Personally I’m glad that he didn’t let “R. Kelly the so called Genius” stop him from saying what he had to say. People are too much of a punk to say anything or have criticism for established artists. I could only imagine what Trey’s first response was when he first heard R. Kelly working with autotunes.

Most of these statements were made before Trey really started doing well.

I seriously doubt Trey will be working at the Super Walmart or pumping gas in 5 years.

"come on trey songz- you r a goofy little dude tryin to get your name known. going after r kelly?? you must be crazy. that dude done forgot more hits than trey songz could ever make. in 5 years we still gon know r kelly if he never do anotha song, but trey we gon be like “who? aww i remember that dude. where he at now? somewhere trying to work with aaron hall” ha"

lol this comment was just hilarious to me...quoting the "song" lines to answer was funny

"...i know im kinda late but i think if trey songz was tired of being compared to r. kelly, the way that it seems that it he likes to run his mouth why didnt he just come out and say that respectfully? that song just made him seem like maybe he thought he was a little bigger than he thought. he’s so busy trying to check a pro (in the music game, i’m not judging his personal life.) i’m sure if the world could see into the dark areas of his life that mouth of his wouldnt be open so wide"

This person made three very valid points...

The fact that no-one replied to this thread makes me laugh out loud...

The reaction of the majority of peoples responses on RealtalkNY
shows that Trey was not well received when he made his song to R.Kelly

This was an excellent comment:

pshhh Songz is gettin’ dope….keyword “gettin’”…I don’t care if he think he is motivating kellz to step up his game…you STILL don’t pop shots on a record @ the Don that has damn near single-handedly paved the way for male R&B singers…like prev comments before…check the resume, I BELIEVE I CAN FLY probably sold more units as a single than ANY of trey songs albums put together…granted the dude like young girls…he still a effin’ MUSICAL GENIUS
