    Wzup Angels?

Okay so this discussion topic has nothing to do with Trey lol............ but I wanted to hear yall's thoughts about Tyler Perry's new movie "For Colored Girls' that was released over the weekend. I saw it with my mom the other day and I thought it was amazing. It was very powerful & intense and I personally think it was one of Tyler Perry's best films so far. I shed some tears, i laughed and I got angry while watching the movie. I want to hear what yall's thoughts are about it (well those of you who have seen it) Did you like it, love it, hate it or did you feel indifferent about it. I personally think Tyler Perry's best movies are the ones without Madea & the Browns. Sometimes those characters do waaaaay too much and it takes away from the film.

It wasnt what i expected( was kinda disappointed) but i enjoyed it for the most part. It really broke my heart when the dad threw the kids out the window , that's not even far fetched today because those things really do happen and its like how do you recover from such a tradegy ? especially as a mother ... but on the brighter note it still had some comical parts like whoopi's character was just a trip ! && when thandie was sweeping out the dust from her apartment && they told her pick it up she's like its dust it'll blow away && phylicia rashaad was like everything doesnt blow like you .. i was like :O lowww blooww loll .

Tyler Perry is by far the most amazing man that has created movies and plays through a womans point of view and has proven that with all of his film creations, and this was the icing on the cake, what away to think outside of the box, when my friend and I left the theater ours minds were still boggling! Movie of the year!

I love to hate that movie..... I went to see the movie with my two cousins our three mothers (who are all sisters) and my grandmother, so it was a great bonding experience and I loved it because it was so real the actresses were phenomenal and it kept me engaged the entire movie but I hated how emotional some scenes made me feel like wit the dance teacher and the kids. I was sobbing by the end of that movie and couldn't stop crying. I was just thinking that as I look around this movie theater i know that every last one of these woman have been through at least one of those situations or somebody close to them has and it just killed my heart. I know I can even relate to a couple of those situations and it just felt too real.

The movie was a great movie and it needs to be winnin all the awards next year.

I think this is a great posting.... but you may spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it if you put details.... I personally LOVED it! I felt every emotion throughout the movie. The literature, language, personalities all touched my soul. The film made 20million opening weekend. So I feel we should all support our brothers and sisters in film no matter what. But great movie all around.

I saw the movie yesterday with my ppls
And I thot it was very thot provoking
Some parts angered me like when the children died because that could've been prevented
And the scene when whoopi made young girl repent was funny because it made me think of Carrie and to me that movie is funny because there are just so many things wrong w/ it lol
